How did you start wrapping when you got to the US?

 

At first I used to buy my own vinyl to wrap people’s cars or trucks in the street in Astoria, Queens. Customers started to brag about my work, then my network of people grew exponentially. 

 

When did you realize you were meant to be a wrapper?

 

I had a passion for wrapping since I was in Mexico, but one day in 2009, I was approached by a woman while I was installing a one by one glass decoration on a store front in S.O.H.O. She said she wanted to hire me, and her husband offered me a huge shop to work out of. She wanted me to wrap for her, and she made me a really good offer. I took it, only to find out years later, they hired someone else for at a lower rate, after I had already trained their staff, and built a network of customers for them. That was they day I knew, I’m a real wrapper, and the knowledge I have can change the world. When I told them they would regret what they did, I said “One day your going to see me in a magazine!”. Prior to her finding me, I worked for myself for six years. It was back to the streets for me, I didn’t look back. Now I work on exclusive contracts and I’m hired by well known companies like, Maserati, Prada, Coca-Cola, Best Buy, and many more.
